Federal Workers Heading Back to Jobs after Bipartisan Deal Reached

Furloughed federal workers are returning to their jobs today after President Obama signed legislation ending the partial shutdown of the federal government.

Indiana's two senators, Republican Dan Coats and Democrat Joe Donnelly, voted for the legislation while 8th District Republican Congressman Larry Bucshon voted against it.

The bipartisan deal funds government operations through mid-January and extends the federal debt limit into early February.
