Indiana to Appeal Deer Preserve Ruling

Indiana will appeal a recent court ruling that allows enclosed deer hunting farms.

Attorney General Greg Zoeller filed notice on Tuesday, two-weeks after a southern Indiana judge said the DNR overstepped its authority when it tried to shut down several high-fence hunting preserves.

According to the ruling, the preserves are not subject to the DNR's oversight because they are privately owned.
