Vincennes Burglary Arrest
Vincennes police arrested a Vincennes man Wednesday night in connection with burglary and attempted burglary investigations.
21-year-old Edward Hakes was arrested at the 6th Street McDonalds where he had left his car which police had earlier located and impounded.
During an inventory of the car, police say they recovered stolen property from the burglary and found over six-thousand dollars and over 70 grams of marijuana.
Hakes is facing preliminary charges of Burglary, Residential Entry, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana Over 30 Grams, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
He is being held in the Knox County Jail on 25-thousand dollars bond.
