Pike Co. Man Pleads Guilty to Unemployment Insurance Fraud
A Pike County man pled guilty this week to Unemployment Insurance Fraud.
State officials say 27-year-old Jeremy Nichols of Stendal collected unemployment benefits while working full-time.
Nichols was ordered to pay the Department of Workforce Development $375 a month for the benefits he collected, plus penalties and interest, totaling over $27,000.
He was also sentenced to six years of probation.
