USI to Cut Ribbon on $3.3 Million Applied Engineering Center

The University of Southern Indiana will cut the ribbon on its new state-of-the-art 3.3 million dollar Applied Engineering Center on Friday.

Students began using the recently completed facility at the start of the fall semester.

University officials say the over 16-thousand square foot facility is a learning factory for students in USI's Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Supervision programs, as well as a valuable tool to help support the regional business community.
