Lawrence Co., IL Board Accepts Bid on New Animal Shelter

The Lawrence County, Illinois Board voted Wednesday night to accept a 58-thousand dollar bid from Tuttle Construction to build a new animal shelter.

The County's old shelter was destroyed by an arson fire earlier this year.

Board chair Bill Gray says the goal is to begin work within the next 60 days.

The board voted unanimously to accept the bid.
