Indiana 5th Cheapest State to Own a Car



A personal finance website has ranked Indiana as the 5th cheapest state to own a car.

Bankrate.com factored in gas, insurance, taxes, and fees when determining the cost of operating a vehicle.

The website says Hoosier spend on average just under 27-hundred dollars a year, which is about 500 dollars less than other states.

Georgia was the most expensive state to own a car in the nation.

Oregon was the cheapest.
