HRB Gives Blessing to Plans for Former School Buildings
The Vincennes Historic Review board voted Tuesday to approve plans by a private developer to make exterior improvements to the Vincennes School Corporation's former administration building and the nearby Adams Coliseum.
Plans call for replacing windows for 47 planned senior housing units in the vacant Administrative Center.
The changes also include new entry doors, and improvements to the structure's brick and limestone.
Adams Coliseum updates include window glazing, cleaning and painting of window frames, and work on the building's brick and limestone.
The H-R-B has not heard any plans yet on the former Clark Middle School facility.
Andy Myszak of Myszak and Palmer told the Board he will approach them later with plans to demolish the old Clark Middle School and turn most of the land into green space.
