Fishers Police arrested an Indiana State Trooper early Sunday morning following a disturbance at a restaurant.
Christopher Dyer, a trooper at the Evansville State Police Post, is facing preliminary charges of Criminal Recklessness with a weapon, Public Intoxication, and resisting law enforcement.
The Indianapolis Star reports police went to the restaurant after receiving a report of a man waving a gun.
The man had fled by the time they arrived.
However, they found Dyer a short distance away walking along the road with his gun safely holstered.
Dyer's blood alcohol content was reportedly point-27.
Dyer has been a trooper for two years.
He will be on administrative Duty pending the outcome of the criminal charges and an Internal ISP investigation.
