Vincennes Police Arrest Round-Up



(Vincennes, IN)  --  Vincennes City Police arrested a Michigan man after a traffic stop Early this morning.
    Officers halted a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Juan Gasca of Decatur Michigan. During the stop police found that he'd been drinking. After a brief investigation, Gasca was arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail for operating while intoxicated.

City police arrested a teen early yesterday morning.
    Officers were called to the area of New Albany and Day Streets. Once on scene officers detained 18-year-old Jordan Wininger of Vincennes and found that he'd been drinking. Winninger was arrested on charges of Minor Consumption and booked into the Knox County Jail.

City Police arrested a man after service of a warrant.
    Officers located 32-year-old Jason White of Vincennes near the 300 block of North Third Street. He was arrested for a Knox Superior Court One warrant for operating a motor vehicle after lifetime forfeiture of driving privileges. White was booked into the Knox County Jail on 10-thousand dollars bond.

Vincennes City Police arrested a man after he gave officers a false name.
    Last night, while on bike patrol, A city police officer located 41-year-old Donald Edward Hill of Vincennes in the Cooper's Woods Area. After questioning it was found that Hill had given a false name and that he was wanted on a Knox Superior Court 2 warrant for possession of meth and possession of paraphernalia. After a brief struggle officers had to taser Hill. He was taken into custody for the warrant, resisting law enforcement and false informing. He was booked into the Knox County Jail.

Vincennes Police arrested an Oaktown woman while investigating a complaint.
    Officers were investigating a separate complaint yesterday evening when they found 31-year-old Rebecca Stockwell of Oaktown in the 1000 block of north 6th Street. Stockwell was wanted on a body attachment. She was served with two writ of attachments from Knox Superior Court 2 and lodged at the Knox County Jail under total cash bond of just under 8,800 dollars.
