Governor Pence Unveils Regions for Indiana Works Councils
Indiana Governor Mike Pence has unveiled a map of the eleven regions for the Indiana Works Councils.
The Indiana Works Councils are designed to bring educators and employers together to evaluate and develop career and technical education that meets the demands of employers in each region.
Each Council is responsible for preparing and submitting a comprehensive evaluation of the available career, technical and vocational education opportunities for high school students in its region to the Governor and the education roundtable by November 1st.
Region 8 includes Daviess, Martin, Lawrence, Orange, Greene, Owen, Monroe and Brown Counties.
Region 11 includes Knox, Gibson, Pike, Dubois, Perry, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer and Perry Counties.
