Two People Injured when Motorcycle Collides with Deer

Two Paoli residents were injured Saturday when their motorcycle collided with a deer on Driving Range Road in Orange County.

Indiana State Police say 58-year-old Jack Taylor was westbound when the deer ran into his path.

Both Taylor and his wife and passenger, 53-year-old Jeanette Taylor, were injured.

Jack Taylor was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Jeanette Taylor was taken to IU Hospital in Paoli where she was treated and released.

Police say Jack Taylor was not wearing a helmet at the time while his wife was.
