Weisheit Faces Possible Death Sentence

A judge is expected to sentence a Vanderburgh County man to death for killing his fiancée's two children by setting their house on fire.

37-year-old Jeffrey Weisheit is scheduled to be sentenced today in Jeffersonville on charges of murder and arson.

The same jurors who found Weisheit guilty last month unanimously recommended that he be executed.

The judge is bound by the jury's recommendation if it is unanimous.

Weisheit was convicted in the April 10th, 2010, deaths of 5-year-old Caleb Lynch and 8-year-old Alyssa Lynch.
