Wounded Indiana Trooper Set for Return to Duty

Indiana State Trooper Jarrod Lents is returning to duty after being wounded last week during a shootout with a robber at the Black Oak Armaments Gun Shop in Montgomery.

Trooper Lents was taken to an Evansville hospital after the shooting, but was released that night.
A relative says bullets struck his protective vest.

Meanwhile, 60-year-old James Jones of Shoals died in the shootout.

A report on the incident is expected to be completed this week and given to the Daviess County Prosecutor for review.
