Death Penalty Recommended for Weisheit

A jury has recommended the death sentence for a southwestern Indiana man convicted earlier this week of killing his fiancée's two children by setting their house on fire.

Jurors yesterday recommended the death sentence for 37-year-old Jeffrey Weisheit.

He was found guilty Tuesday of murder and arson for the April 10th, 2010, deaths of 5-year-old Caleb Lynch and 8-year-old Alyssa Lynch at the Vanderburgh County home Weisheit shared with the children's mother, Lisa Lynch.
