Jury Seated for Murder Trial of Vanderburgh Co. Man

Attorneys have completed jury selection and are preparing for opening arguments Monday morning in the death penalty murder and arson trial of a Vanderburgh County man charged with setting a fire that killed his fiancee's two children three years ago.

The trial of 37-year-old Jeffrey Weisheit was moved from Evansville to Jeffersonville because of extensive media coverage.

The bodies of 8-year-old Alyssa Lynch and 5-year-old Caleb Lynch were found inside the Vanderburgh County home Weisheit shared with the children's mother, Lisa Lynch.
