Princeton Couple Arrested for Cultivating Marijuana

State Police arrested a Princeton couple Wednesday afternoon for Cultivating Marijuana.

45-year-old Robert and 44-year-olf Sheila Spore were arrested after police found an indoor marijuana growing operation in the basement of their rural Princeton home.

Police obtained a search warrant after learning of illegal drug activity at the residence.

Troopers seized 22 marijuana plants that were about two-feet tall.

Police say the plants would have had a street value of about $20,000.

In addition to Cultivating Marijuana, the Spores are facing preliminary charges of Possession of Marijuana; Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Both are being held without bond in the Gibson County Jail
