IU President Recommends Lowest Tuition Increase Since 1970's

Indiana University President Michael McRobbie is recommending tuition and fee increases of 1.75% for Indiana residents in each of the next two years at the school's Bloomington campus.

The university said the proposed tuition increase is the lowest since the late 1970s.

It would raise tuition from $10,033 in 2012 through 2013 to $10,209 and then $10,388 the following year.

Tuition and fees would increase 2.75% each year for non-Indiana residents.
