Bank Robbery Shootout



The FBI has identified the man shot and killed by agents Friday after a bank robbery in Plainfield.

43-year-old William McKnight of Indianapolis was fatally wounded after refusing orders to drop his gun after the robbery the State Bank of Lizton in Plainfield.

Meanwhile, two other suspects, 24-year-old Demetrius Worley and 44-year-old Lori Armstrong of Indianapolis, were being held Sunday at the Hendricks County Jail in Danville.

No charges have been filed in the case yet.

The FBI says its Safe Streets Task Force was conducting surveillance at the time on a suspicious vehicle that turned out to be the robbers' getaway vehicle.
