From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 8th…AND…from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9th…the Indiana Military Museum proudly presents a “Salute to the Veterans of Vietnam”.
Congressional Medal of Honor Winner…Sammy Davis will speak on Saturday.
Rides in a “Huey” helicopter will be available on Saturday with a membership purchase to the Indiana Air Search and Rescue group.
The 105 Howitzer will be demonstrated and fired on Sunday by the Indiana National Guard.
BOTH days you’ll be able to visit re-enactors at special exhibits.
You’ll see a great variety of military relics and memorabilia for sale from the Evansville
Military Collectors Association.
Food and refreshments will also be available both days.
There’s a two-dollar-per-car parking fee…but admission to the grounds and outdoor exhibits is free.
All Vietnam Veterans and their spouses are admitted FREE to the “Salute to the Veterans of Vietnam” Saturday and Sunday…June 8th and 9th…at the new “Indiana Military Museum” on South 6th Street Road in Vincennes.
