McQueen Murder Trial Continues

The murder trial of Tyler McQueen continues today in Lawrence County, Illinois Circuit Court with the defense scheduled to call witnesses.

Defense Attorney Matthew Vaughn says he intends to submit a 3-hour long DVD of McQueen's police interview that will show the jury things they "won't like."

The prosecution alleges the evidence shows 78-year-old Robert Westall sustained cuts, stab wounds, a broken nose and a slashed jugular at the hands of McQueen -- who then tried to destroy the evidence by throwing his bloodstained clothing into the Wabash River from the Lincoln Memorial Bridge.

The case could go to the jury this afternoon or Friday morning.
