Loogootee Traffic Stop Leads to Three Drug Arrests

An early Wednesday morning traffic stop in Martin County resulted in three drug arrests.

State Police say 35-year-old Rector Worely of Indianapolis was pulled over in Loogootee for failure to signal a turn.

It turned out Worely was driving while suspended.

Meth making materials were found in the car.

Worely and his two passengers, 36-year-old Shirley Coker and 38-year-old Tawnya Stone, both from Loogootee, were arrested and taken to the Martin County Jail.

A search of Stone’s residence turned up methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Stone’s child was also present in the residence and was turned over to family members.

At Coker’s residence, police found methamphetamine and precursors commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.
