Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis was put on lockdown for nearly four-hours Tuesday after a student said she saw a man in a brown coat possibly carrying a "long gun." 

School officials lifted the lockdown just before 5 P.M. 

Students were told to take shelter while police searched the buildings on campus, but the man was not found.
