A three-year-old Brown County toddler is being treated for a gunshot wound at Riley Hospital for Children.

The shooting happened Sunday evening at the home of a relative near Morgantown on Spearsville Road.

The child was lifelined to Riley for treatment.

His current condition is unknown.

The Brown County Sheriff has asked state police to investigate the incident.
