The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department says additional charges are pending against an Indianapolis man in connection with a traffic stop Wednesday on US 41.

39-year-old Christopher Harsin was pulled over for speeding.

Deputies smelled marijuana and searched his vehicle.

They found marijuana, crystal meth, a syringe, morphine and paraphernalia.

Harsin also had two loaded firearms in the vehicle, one of which was stolen in Ohio.

On Thursday, deputies executed a search warrant on a lock box that was found in the vehicle.

Inside that box, deputies found 65 grams of marijuana, meth , syringes, and multiple prescription medications.

Harsin is being held in the Gibson County Jail on $3000 cash bond and will face updated felony charges based on the new evidence.
