State highway officials are advising motorists to be aware of temporary daytime lane closures on Interstate 69 in southwest Indiana this spring.Indiana Department of Transportation personnel will be walking all 65 miles of newly opened interstate as part of its process for performing final construction inspections.
Contractors will then be completing tasks identified in the inspections before INDOT finalizes and accepts each construction contract.
I-69 opened to traffic between Evansville and Crane in November of 2012.
