Interstate 70 and the northbound lanes of I-65 in Indianapolis reopened Sunday. 

They were shut down Friday afternoon when an oversized semi struck the Virginia Avenue overpass and damaged it. 

Crews spent the weekend cutting steel plates and splicing them to the bridge for reinforcement.
