State Police arrested a Lawrenceville, Illinois man Saturday night for public intoxication and leaving the scene after striking a parked car in front of the Olde Towne Tavern on Main Street in Vincennes.

In addition, 21-year-old Kurtis Waller was arrested for battery after he allegedly punched the tavern’s bouncer who told him he needed to stay because  police had been called.

Waller then went into the Bottoms-Up Tavern on Main Street where police arrested him.
