arshall, IL) -- The Regional Local Foods group is getting together next week in Marshall and they're inviting food producers and small farms to participate. The group is looking at the resources available to the local foods industry. It covers Crawford, Clark and Edgar Counties. They've gathered information from several organizations like the Business Solution Center from Eastern Illinois University, the Illiniana Ag Alliance, Rural Development and the University of Illinois Extension. They'll also showcase information next week on organic transition, beginning farmer loans and rural business development options. The meeting is Tuesday night at six at the University of Illinois Extension Office in Marshall.
