Federal Officials Reviewing I-69 Land Deals

Federal officials are reviewing the prices Indiana paid to acquire land for the I-69 extension project.

According to the "Indianapolis Star," the state offered seven-million dollars for 32 properties that its appraisers valued at only three-point-34-million dollars.

The Federal Highway Administration wrapped up the investigation last week, but is still analyzing the findings.
