Indiana Drought Over

It appears the drought that ravaged Indiana and wreaked havoc on farmers in 2012 is over.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Jason Puma says Indiana got 5.5 inches of rain in January.

He says that's three inches more than normal for the month.

Puma says the fall of 2012 and into January brought wet conditions and more than enough precipitation to pull the state out of drought.
