Use caution when driving this morning.Thursday's snowfall plus extremely cold temperatures have left many streets, roads and highways very slick and hazardous this morning.
Most area schools have delayed the start of classes or have closed due to road conditions.
Pike County Schools are now closed.
In Martin County, Loogootee Community Schools are on a two-hour delay while Shoals Schools are closed.
Schools in Lawrence County, Illinois are closed today.
Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Daviess, Green, and Sullivan County Schools are on a 2-hour delay this morning.
Bedford North Lawrence Schools are on a 2-hour delay.
Vincennes University classes are being held as scheduled today at Vincennes, Jasper and Gibson County sites.
Roads are still slick in some spots and drivers are urged to use caution, allow for more travel time, and to take main roads, where possible.
Students who feel they need to miss a class due to weather conditions, must advise instructors and make arrangements to make up any missed work.
