Law enforcement surveillance of two men leads to arrests in Evansville on drug charges - and the confiscation of 280 pounds of pot.

U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett accuses 34-year old Jerome Walton of Indianapolis with shipping plastic wrapped bundles of marijuana from Laredo, Texas to 37-year old Andre White of Evansville.

Drug officers say they discovered the marijuana in White‘s pick-up truck near Evansville Regional Airport.

Hogsett alleges the pair was involved in a scheme to ship 200 to 400 pounds of marijuana from a Mexican drug cartel to the Evansville area for sale.
