Washington Police arrested a Washington man Wednesday on a preliminary charge of Theft.

36-year-old David Byrns was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $2,500 bond.

Meanwhile, Washington Police arrested 52-year-old William Sweet of Washington Wednesday for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Prior; Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, refusal; and Driving While Suspended, Prior.

Sweet is being held without bond.
