Hunters harvested nearly 181 thousand deer in Illinois during the 2012-2013 hunting seasons.Illinois Department of Natural Resources Spokesperson Tim Schweizer says it was another successful season of archery, firearm, youth, muzzleloader and late winter hunting.
Illinois counties where the most deer were taken over the various hunting seasons include: Pike, Adams, Fulton, and Jefferson.
