A group of 8th grade students from Brown County Junior High School are raising money to fund their trip to Washington D.C. to compete in the We The People debate competition.

The 24 students won the state competition and need 15-hundred dollars per student to send the 24-member team to nationals.

One of the fundraisers includes the raffle of a Fender Stratocaster guitar donated and signed by rocker John Mellencamp.
