7 Flu Deaths Reported in Indiana Since November

State health officials say seven people have died from influenza in Indiana since November in what is considered to be one of the worst flu outbreaks in a decade.

Five of those who died were older than 65 and two were under 18.

However, health officials say it's not too late to get vaccinated.

Flu vaccination is recommended for anyone 6 months of age or older.

It's also recommended for high risk groups including pregnant women, young children, people with chronic illnesses and/or compromised immune systems and the elderly.
