Indiana's Jobless Rate Holds Steady at 8% in November



Indiana's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady in November at 8.0 percent.

Unemployment in the Hoosier State remains lower than all surrounding states, with the exception of Ohio, and slightly above the national rate.

Sullivan County had the state's highest unemployment rate in November at 11.1 percent.

Dubois County had the lowest at 5.5 percent.

Daviess and Martin Counties tied for the second lowest unemployment rate in the state at 5.9 percent.

Green County's unemployment rate was 8.7 percent.

Knox County's jobless rate in November was 6.7 percent.

Pike County's rate was 7.9 percent and Gibson County's was 7.1 percent.
