A new Ball State University poll shows more acceptance of certain social issues.The survey shows 53 percent of Hoosiers support the decriminalization of small amounts of marijuana and 41 percent are against it.
Dr. Joseph Losco, Chairman of the Department of Political Science at Ball State University, says we're experiencing a change in opinions within generations in the state.
He says 69 percent of those between the ages of 18 and 24 support the decriminalization of marijuana.
The survey also shows a split on the legalization of same-sex marriage with 45 percent supporting it and 45 percent against it.
