No one was injured in a Thursday morning fire that heavily damaged a Knox County home.

Palmyra and Vincennes Township firefighters were called to the home of Cheryl Bilskie and her 20-month-old infant at the corner of Nugent and Mount Zion Road around 9:15.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the bedroom.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The blaze destroyed clothing, toys and Christmas presents located inside the bedroom.

The Old Northwest Territory Chapter of the Red Cross is accepting donations to help the fire victims. 

Accepted items include clothing, household items, and toys.
