A new survey shows that manufacturing in Indiana is now stronger than it has been since the recession hit back in late 2007.The survey by IU's Kelley School of Business finds, among other things, that Indiana manufacturers have largely shaken off the effects of what's called the, "Great Recession."
Manufacturers have stabilized and are hiring workers.
The survey also notes an "on-shoring" trend.
More Indiana companies are bringing manufacturing jobs back to the United States.
More than 70 percent of firms say they're planning to boost investment in needed areas or expand outright.
