A fertilizer company will make a home in Spencer County.

Ohio Valley Resources, LLC has announced plans to locate a new fertilizer plant near Rockport creating up to 80 new jobs by 2016.

The company will invest 952 million dollars to construct a new facility on 150 acres of land.

The facility will produce over 24-hundred tons per day of ammonia and three-thousand tons per day of urea ammonium nitrate solution for fertilizer.
