Three southern Indiana residents have been indicted on federal gun offenses.The three were indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Evansville.
23-year-old Stedman Baird of Newburgh, 54-year-old Michael White of Evansville, and 32-year-old Jackie Whitley of Mount Vernon were indicted for being felons in possession of a firearm.
Whitley was also indicted for possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
Each faces a possible penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each firearms offense.
