The firearms deer season got underway today in Indiana.

Indiana conservation officials remind hunters to wear required hunter orange garments and take caution when hunting from elevated stands.

Falls from tree stands are the number one hunting accident recorded yearly.  

The firearms season runs through Sunday, December 2nd.
