Verizon Wireless expanded its 4G LTE network to the City of Washington Thursday.

The new coverage provides for speeds up to ten times faster than the regular 3G service.

The 4G upgrade is part of Verizon's plan to cover 400 markets before 2013 - a goal that's already been surpassed.
