Indiana's Task Force One is on stand-by in Ohio, waiting to help with search and rescue operations following Hurricane Sandy. Officials say the 80 volunteers will be responsible for searching structural collapses.
Indiana Task Force One will wait for instructions at Wright Patterson Airport in Dayton.
Indiana Task Force 1 is comprised of emergency responders from Fire Departments in and around Marion County and civilians from various professional backgrounds across the state.
The Team specializes in Technical Rescue, Search, Hazardous Materials, Medical and Logistics.
