The country music duo Sugarland is backtracking and in damage control after the band's lawyers said in court documents that fans are to blame for injuries and deaths at the Indiana State Fair. The manager for Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush issued a statement yesterday, saying the band's fans are, quote, "the single most important thing" to them and for anyone to think or say otherwise is, quote, "devastating to them."
Attorneys for the band responded to a civil lawsuit by blaming several groups including the State of Indiana, the State Fair Board and stagehands for the stage collapse that killed seven people
