The North Knox School Board has accepted a one-thousand dollar Toyota grant to enhance its science program. The grant will be used by the science department at North Knox High School.
In other business, the North Knox School Board passed a policy on first reading to regulate chemical management. The rules put state mandates in place to keep chemical storage areas well-ventilated, and to keep the harmful chemicals out of the reach of children.
Finally, the Board approved a housekeeping measure to allow the transfer of four minor funds. The transfer keeps the funds' accounting in order for the current year.
