All Federal, State, and Local Government offices will be closed today in celebration of Labor Day. US Mail will not be delivered and many area banking institutions are closed. Monday's recycling is cancelled. This weeks recyclables include cans an plastic bottles.
 Normal trash collection and recycling will take place Tuesday.

    There are plenty of activities on this Labor Day.  The annual Bicknell Heritage Labor Day Festival wraps up today.  The Bicknell parade will step off at noon from Main Street to Southside Park.  The annual Palestine Labor Day Parade will also take place today.  The annual Denison Township Chowder will be held at the St. Francisville Firehouse.  Carry outs will begin today at eight a-m central and the food line starts at 11.  The city of Princeton is hosting their 125th Labor Day celebration at the Gibson County Fairgrounds.  The Princeton Labor Day Parade will step off at nine a-m at Main and Clark Streets.
