Community Calendar 18 July 2009, Saturday Pike County 4H Fair The Pike County 4H Fair is taking place through July 18th at Hornaday Park in Petersburg. There will be a corn hole tourney at 11am plus gospel music all day and the garden tractor pull starting at 5:30pm. For more information call 354-6838. Bicknell Swimland There is a BBQ CHICKEN FUNDRAISER from 11-3pm at Northside Park on highway 67 in Bicknell. Proceeds will go towards the upkeep of Bicknell Swimland. Heritage Baptist Church Heritage Baptist Church of Vincennes is having a BLOCK PARTY to promote its Vacation Bible School. The party is from 1 until 3pm at Gregg Park in Vincennes. Greene County Fair** The Greene County Fair is taking place at the fairgrounds between Switz City and Bloomfield. Activities today include the Demolition Derby starting at 7:30pm. Daviess Co 4H Fair** The Daviess County 4H fair is at Eastside Park in Washington July 16th through the 24th. Todays events include the Horse and Pony Show at 9am. Vincennes Farmers Market** The Vincennes FARMERS MARKET is now open in the Riverfront Pavilion at 2nd and Busseron Streets. Fresh, local produce is available on Wednesdays from 7 until noon and on Saturday from 8 until 1pm. Feed My Sheep FEED MY SHEEP of Daviess County is distributing groceries from 9 until 1 at 601 West Oak in Washington. There will also be a distribution from 9 until 10am at the Odon Nazarene Church. The church is located on East Illinois Street across from the Little League ballpark. Daviess Co Red Cross** The Daviess County chapter of the American Red Cross is having a public BLOOD DRIVE.
